Motherhood
It starts as soon as a child is born.
They are delicate, defenseless and pure.
Mothers will hold them tight and promise
to never let harm come upon them.
Then they are toddlers,
Running around and getting into things.
And still the mothers live their promise,
to never let harm come upon them.
Time flies so fast,
elementary, Junior high.
The children are teens now.
High school can be so hard.
Some children are fine,
Others are not.
The mothers try their hardest to live their promise,
to never let harm come upon them.
Now, the children walk down the aisle,
Beginning their lives anew.
And soon a new mother will promise to their baby.
to never let harm come upon them.

Go too your local library and I'm sure they will have some good poems there. If not, then you're next question on here should be, What are some good poems for Mother's Day? If you do that instead of asking where then I'm sure you'll get more helpful answers! -_-
