Would the poem I wrote about my papa be a good gift to my mom for mothers day?(Its her dad, and he past away last moth and shes still takn it really hard)
The Days go by…
It seems like years.
Thinking of you,
I hide my tears.
For them,
I must be strong.
As time goes by
It seems so long.
Years from now,
We will meet again.
I will see you soon,
Up in heaven.

I’m sorry that no-one answered you….. I think the idea is a really sweet one, but to be honest maybe now is not the best time when the emotions are still very raw.
I would try to concentrate on something positive - being Mother’s day it is more the relationship between the two of you, and I would say do something that reminds her of that and of something she can be happy about - for example if you want to write a poem (really beautiful and personal idea) about how much you love her and respect her, I think it would be a lovely idea
…. don’t get rid of your papa’s poem though…. there will come a time when you know it is right to give it to your mum….
