its mothers day soon and i dont know what to get my mum. i have got and idea of what to get her and there is a link attached to this question which shows you what i have in mind but i was wondering what you thought i could get her.?

I'm sure that your Mom would love it.
A nice touch to add to it would be to make your own card.
I love it when my adult children make the cards, weather it be on the computer or just the old fashioned construction paper and markers.
Remember it's the thought that counts.

A mother/daughter day at the spa. A lot of spas give discounts around Mother's Day. You could do a manicure, pedicure, facial, massage, or you could even just go to the salon and get your hair and makeup done and take her to lunch. I did the spa thing for my mom and she loved it! Moms hardly ever get to treat themselves like that and it makes it even better that you guys can do it together!

Consider making her a "This Is Your Life" video. Basically it is putting pictures to music. I did it for my mom and she absolutely loved it. She has shown that movie dozens of times to all of her friends and family. See the link below for a free tutorial I put together on how to make one yourself.
