If money is tight how about a year magazine subscription that has something to do with one of her hobbies, like a gardening magazine, cooking, baking, home decorating, etc. You can get a year subscription for about 20 dollars and its thoughtful and not just like flowers that are gone in a week..a magazine subscription keeps giving.
