I'm running low on money, and ideas, of what to get my mom.
Any original, creative ideas that'll put the biggest smile on her face that day?
Thanks a lot.

Group all her favorite photos. Make your mom laugh and reminisce her glorious days during Mother's Day through a photo collage. It's also an excellent project for kids. You can choose to come up with your own theme. Perhaps you want to focus on her early childhood days (surely Grandma still has her pictures), her times with your dad, or, most of all, your bonding moments together. When you are already satisfied with what you have done, you can then print your photo collage in a color printer using an A4, short, or long bond paper

what does your mother like? Normally things that many parents would appreciate are small things. Listen in to when she is speaking of things she needs or would like that is something which you may do for free or purchase at no cost. Something like putting out the trash for a month. Or cleaning the gutters, cleaning the garage. Giving her a manicure or something. Baking her favorite cake (if you can cook, otherwise this is not a good idea.) Don't be afraid to go outside of the box. Not every gift has to cost money. I can't get more definitive though because I don't know your mother, but I hope this helps.

You didn't provide any details about your mother like her age or hobbies. Generally mother's day gifts are thoughtful and sentimental. I am getting my mother a Frameagram from http://www.frameagram.com with a picture of my son. Good luck.

Make her breakfast in bed and send her to a spa that offers a lunch.

Make her a homemade CD using your computer. Put songs that remind you of her on the CD, and put a photo of the two of you together on the front of the case. Here's a great list to get you started:

I’ll have to suggest http://www.creanta.com
They turn any image, including your favorite photograph into an amazing and affordable hand made painting.
Maybe one of the two of you? She'll cherish that for a lifetime.
What I liked of them is that they at reeeeaally good at capturing the physical likeness. Not to mention very, very affordable (they even combine multiple photos into a single painting). I was very impressed with the results.
In addition to portrait paintings they also do paintings of pets, landscapes and anything that means something to you (like your first car, favorite vacation spot, etc).
They’re the nicest people… because I was late with my friend’s gift, they even hand made a custom card to notify her that a special gift was coming her way. I highly recommend them.
Best wishes!!
