will, I want to ask, on what do you call a mother who has no children. I need the answer as soon as possible for our mothers day celebration
I disagree with the no children no mother thing. If she has pets she may consider those her children. Even if the idea is silly to you, she may feel that they are her "kids". I have no children, but my husband and I celebrate Mothers & Fathers Day with our dogs.
But if you are unsure perhaps just normal conversation would be the best way to handle the situation.

If a woman has lost her children, treat her as you would any other Mother.
Get some flowers or a card. Believe me, she has not forgotten being a Mother!
If you know a woman who has been like a Mother to you, treat her like your Mom. She'll love it!

I'm sorry honey, but if she doesn't have any children, she isn't a mother.
Though, if she has treated you like she is your mother, there are cards for motherish day. I sent one to a friend's mom who has always helped me out and welcomed me. Try looking for those cards or make one of your own.

Well, if she has not children, she is not a mother.
As far as a greeting, I would just say "Hello."

Are you asking what's the word that means a woman who gave birth to one or more children, all of whom are now dead; sort of the opposite of "orphan"? Sorry, but I don't know that word.
