My sister and I celebrate this day by ourselves before we get busy with our children for mother day celebration. we really have a good time. we even thought about making up cards and such.
My husband does stuff for me starting on that Friday night. He takes almost complete care of our now 2 1/2 year-old son, and he drops me off at the salon to get my pedicure and manicure. Sat morning he makes me breakfast and if it is decent weather he has our table out on our deck set up with fresh flowers and nice China. Sunday he will take me out for breakfast before going to church with my parents and then we go out with my parents after church.

NO THAT IS SILLY, IF WE GIVE MOTHER'S DAY AN EVE THEN ALL HOLIDAYS SHOULD HAVE AND EVE.
