Read Profit Over People and you’ll see just how many people the United States systemically oppresses for no good reason (other than profit and military control).
The ‘enemies’ of which you speak are, largely, products of US foreign policy that supports dictators and gives arms and military training to people you’d call terrorists. See: Nicaragua, Chile, Argentina, Afghanistan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Guatemala, etc.
Every administration since Eisenhower knew this.

I challenge you to …
I challenge you to provide some kind of evidence for this. Every other country in no way had the same chances we did, and the wealth of the US exists because it exploits many other countries in the world. Read A People’s History of the United States, Manufacturing Consent, Failed States, or a plethora of other books on this matter.
With all due respect sir I believe you to be ignorant of your country’s history and I think it best to read up before making such sweeping and incorrect claims.

The US military is …
The US military is an agenda. The Code Pink is an anti-war and anti-military agenda. The exhibit was to recruit more youth into a military that many people in this country to be entirely too large and aggressive and responsible for many deaths, American and foreign. No one is above criticism, especially not the branch of government charged with threatening and killing people…even if they mean well.
What’s your evidence about suicide correlation and a “lack of respect” and why does it matter?

There is nobody but …
There is nobody but ordinary citizens to show respect for these soldiers. Other than them, its what? a few goverment officals. If ordinary citizens won’t stand up to recognize our soldiers who will? And America has not lost its soul, as long as there are people such as you and me willing to fight and die for our rights that soul still exists. That soul exists in millions of people who are proud of their country no matter its faults.

the isolation of our soldiers cannot be blamed on ordinary citizens and these wonderful mothers, but we can blame it on the geriatric morons in congress and the last presidency who sold America’s soul forever to corporatism-induced extinction of the greatest social experiment in liberty….and of course, sadly, patriarchy is the greatest predator of the men of our society, hence why men are isolated in human society

It really makes me sad people trying to push their agendas through on something like this. It was an exhibiton to recognize our soldier’s for chirsts sake. They get little respect and recognition as it is. Is it any wonder the suicide rate of returning soliders is so high? Scorned by the people you risked your life to protect, is there anything worse?

Really it was a smart decison, they were preventing conflict. If they would have went in those tents and protested i could gurantee you somebody, a mother of a solider, a brother, father, sisters, or even a returned solider themself would have gotten angry becuase somebody, it always happens, would call soldiers murders. If i accused one of your loved ones of muder i’m sure you would be pretty upset too.

The Taliban, Hitler, the KKK, were/are all motivated by racist and/or religous beleifs. They all suppresed a particular group of people for no good reason. I will say some of America’s actions to go to war were wrong, but that can’t change the fact it happened.
