Are we included in the celebrations lol?? I know this question might sound a bit stupid… I suppose everyone is different, but what are your opinions? I am 17 weeks pregnant with my first, and have no other children- did any of you get a card off your partners/ any family members just as a warm gesture?? To be honest im kind of hoping a family member might get me something just to kind of get me warmed up to motherhood! Lol i probably sound stupid, but just wondering your thoughts on this! Many thanks, God Bless! =] ~x~
Hi there, with both of my children my partner got me beautiful little picture frames saying "best mum" & "special mum" on them and put each of their scan photographs in them and he wrote little cards telling me how much they could’nt wait to meet me! It was one of the sweetest things someone had ever done for me & I cried for ages! I really hope you get something because it makes you feel so special, and after all you’re going to be a REAL mummy soon. Congratulations!! XX

I’m hoping to get something. I’m due in June with my first. I told my husband that I expect something for Mother’s Day, but he said no. I don’t know if he was joking or not. The baby is due a few days before Father’s Day and I’m planning on doing something for him. I don’t know if my parents are going to do something for me.

I’m due the day before Mother’s day, so if I have her on time, that’s gonna be my present.
I personally feel that even if your only pregnant, you are still a mother. I know some people don’t think your actually a mother before you have the baby. I hope someone gets you something.

When is mothers day anyways? Yes a lot of people do celebrate it for expectant parents. If you don’t think your husband will come up with the idea on his own you can ask him what he wants for fathers day or say you found something at the store that you really want for mothers day. There’s nothing wrong with telling him what you want since he can’t read your mind. When I was pregnant with my first my husband and I celebrated mothers day and fathers day. Our parents even gave us cards.

my best friend was pregnant for last years mothers day, so i made a point of sending her partner a lil message to remind him and to let him know that she would be overjoyed to get a card from their lil baby bump!!! he did and she was very happy!

I asked my Sis in Law if anybody called her or anything when she was pregnant with her first and she said quite a few people called and she got cards from a few people. I cant wait for my little boy to be here! Heres an early greeting from one mommy-to-be to another HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!!

Well i’ll have my daughter by mothers day. Due a couple weeks before it. But if I wasnt i would expect something. Even if it was just a card. You may not have a baby you can hold then, but your still gonna have one soon
