…what about the rest of the world? I am interested about an authentic celebration, with men offering flowers and making wishes to women (not only to mothers - as it happens for Mother’s Day)

I got nothing, no flowers, no chocolates, no diamons, nothing. So I’d say no, it’s not celebrated.

    I think it is, at least in the capitalist countries. It’s a sop to women to ‘celebrate’ their equality with men. But you and I know who’s superior to whom, don’t we?
