Are you celebrating with your own mother/MIL as well as taking some time to yourself or are you just spending time for yourself? Are you breaking up celebrations all weekend or doing it all on Sunday?

For fun, any good plans?

My husband and I are taking our 5 month old son to the zoo for the first time tomorrow. I’m super excited. I know our son won’t remember much, but I will! Then we’re going to my husband’s family to celebrate with his mom and step sister. His step dad caught some fish so we’re having a fish fry. Then Sunday we’re having lunch at my parent’s and I don’t know what we’ll do that afternoon/evening.

On Sunday I think my husband, my mini and I are going out to breakfast…I suspect I’ll be getting a little something for my 1st Mother’s Day, but I have no idea what. Hopefully something I’ll be able to keep forever! Then we’re supposed to go and plant flowers at my MIL’s mom’s (so my GIL? lol) and we’ll probably have a BBQ there. Should be a fun day.

Normal day here I think. I expect a few phone calls, but really not much more than that.

My husband is working :( he’s a cop and misses some holidays. So, I will be going to my in-laws for lunch actually, they are about a 30 minute drive away from us. It will be nice now that my son isn’t a newborn anymore and he can actually interact with relatives.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the other Mom’s on here!

First thing I will make breakfast and we will head off to church, when we get home my mom’s side of the family will be coming over to our house for lunch, and then we will be heading for my husband’s side in the evening. There is NO resting for this mother, not even on Mother’s Day.

Im not too sure..i think we will just be spending the day together with our baby- his mum lives far away from us and my parents have passed away so there wont be any spending time with our families- except we do have his cousins 2 year old birthday party to go to in the afternoon.
Im working full time at the moment so all I care about is spending the day with my baby;)
