Orr was as swift skater, but I didn’t know he could “fly”. The snapshot of him in the air, after scoring the league-championship-overtime-goal is the stuff of legend.

One of the greatest Sports moments ever. Right up there with the 1980 Olympic team win over the Soviets. Of course, I was 11 and change and watching this on TV 12 miles from the Gahden at the time, so I’m biased :)
God bless Bobby Orr, a class act all the way. (Orr turned 60 a few days ago - WTF? Where did all the time go? Happy Birthday, Mr. Orr.)

What a beautiful call by Dan Kelly. Bobby Orr’s goal looked easy but watch as he looks at the net and picks his spot before shooting, not once looking down at the puck. Bobby Orr will always be the greatest player of all time.

Unfortunately, this clip is all that’s left of the game. Back in those days Channel 38 was low budget and recorded over the tapes. Only highlights remain of those games. There are a few CBC games floating around.
