i have four children with my husband. everyone including his/our friends have wished me happy mothers day except him what should i think?
i wouldn’t worry about it. it he forgets your aniversery or some big important date like that, then i would worry.

maybe he has something special planed the day is not over. have hope, besides be grateful for your family, that they are still around, and you can enjoy them.

maybe he is one of those ignorant husbands that say "You’re not my mother, why should I say anything or get you a gift?" I always made sure my wife knew how thankful I was for her being such a great mom to our daughter.

If he bought you a gift then maybe he thinks that said it all. If e didn’t even buy you a gift he’s taking you for granted. Ask if if he thinks you’re a good mother. If he says yes then ask him why he hasn’t wished you a Happy Mother’s Day?

it’s still early in the day…or..depending on how long you’ve been married he may think he doesn’t have to do things like wish a happy so and so..or do special things for you because he’s already got you..?

Please don’t let it upset you. After-all, it is "MOTHER’S" day.
Do you want him to think of you as his mother?? Does he wish you Happy Birthday on your birthday? Does he wish you Happy Anniversary on your anniversary? I think that acknowledgement would be more appropriate. He probably feels that it is the day for "your children" to honor you. Do you wish him Happy Fathers Day on his day?? Don’t let it bother you. What would upset me is if my 2 adult children didn’t recognize me on Mother’s day, but not my husband.

Some men feel that only THEIR mom should get that from them.
It’s weird, but I can SORT of see their point…..even tho as a mom, I would be hurt not to hear it.
But if that were the case, you’d have surely known & accepted it by now……

As long as your children wished you a happy Mother’s Day, what’s the problem? Your husband doesn’t have to say it. You’re not his mother.
