I have two friends with a stepchild that does not live with them should I wish them a happy mothers day??
even if she does't have kids of her own yet
yes. even though they are both stepmothers, they are still mothers by marriage. one of my uncles has three daughters, and he was remarried last summer. so his wife is now a stepmother. my dad just gotten remarried, and his wife is my brothers and my stepmother. i just wished her a happy mothers day, and it felt great! hope this helps!

Yes, she is a mother. My stepmother always gets cards, and presents. She is like a mother to me.

I guess that it would depend on if she were really into those kids and if they love her. If not, don't bother.

Anyone who does no mothering of any sort cannot be regarded as a mother. They should therefore not be wished a happy mothers' day. However, if you don't, they'll feel bad and hold a grudge. So, go ahead and do it. Make two phonecalls and save yourself the stress!
